I basically handed over my life to Google. I don’t want to reel too much off topic but I’d like to address my comment on the “3 cloud providers”. I’ll have a look into the GPX which gets exported from sports-tracks. Suunto will not invest and improve sports-tracker in the foreseeable feature and it will be just the backend platform for their Suunto app. Yeah, POIs: those decoupled little bastards. However, there are folks who know they want GPX for its route/track/POI versatility and commonality. Therefore I have to convert the FIT file to a compatible GPX file, using external tools & services that "holds" ALL the biometric data*,* POIs like Movescount was (still is) able to process and export.įor those other people who want their GPX with biometrics, Suunto makes an overwhelming case for FIT (as export). For example, I cannot use the FIT file exported from Suunto app, nor the GPX file (as I've explained above as a workaround), because of the incompatibility with other apps, services eg and the GPX file, as the file is not being correctly formatted. Each GPX file can contain multiple routes, tracks and POIs, which some people like myself prefer. modern GPX files are not stripped- down FITs.

Once you select share, the link stored on sports-tracker server is becoming visible and that can be saved. In the explorer tab (the location/gps icon), you can see your previous saved Route from point 1, from there you can export it using the "Share" button, as a GPX file.Press on the activity->(three dots)->Save RouteA new screen will open to save the new route, where you can rename it. To be able download the activity from your phone, you must save your activity/move as a new route.Sports-tracker's API is what is actually used and where the activities are stored server side.
